Why does the Forex only focus on seven world currencies??? -

I noticed that the Forex only quotes seven currencies: the US dollar, the Euro, the Japanese yen, the Canadian dollar, the Australian dollar, the British pound, and the Swiss franc. Is there a particular reason why these 7 currencies are used?? These currencies represent the most traded currencies in the world. While it does focus on that there are many more...but the previous answerer is right, those are simply the most used ones by the worlds population. Here s a little more on fx from investopedia.... http://www.investopedia.com/university/f... You have a few good answers, there is a company that trades more currencies. Compass Financial Solutions in Lakewood, CO is the only company in the world that is doing true managed fx investments. Check out www.cfscap.com, let me know if I can help The reason why is because you want to trade currencies based on the strongest economies. Personally I only deal with the Pound and the Swiss Franc but I ve traded the Yen and the Euro as well. If you would like to find out more information about trading on the Forex check out www.smartforexinvestor.com. If you have any questions just let me know.
