I am planning future possibilities of trading in Forex (foreign exchange). If you are familiar with this then please give me recommendations of what would be a suitable computer system for doing this. I don t want anything super extravagant. I just need something as basic as possible yet good enough to keep up with trading Forex. you may check on this site for your preference. if you want to trade forex with them, you should have the following: Recommended Requirements: Computer: Intel Pentium IV 3.0GHz, 512 MB RAM, or higher Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.X and up Mac users: The site is not currently compatible for Safari, we recommend Firefox Internet connection: Broadband 1.5 MB download speed, 256 KB upload speed Minimal Requirements Computer: Intel Pentium II (AMD/ Celeron equivalent) 500 MHz, 128 MB RAM) Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Internet connection: ISDN 128 KB download/upload for your further information, this site is one of the leaders in forex trading and offers personalized service through live, one-on-one training via phone, email or chat. for just a $100 mini account, you can start trading with their quot;no software downloadquot; trading system. other available accounts in series are gold, platinum and vip. note that the higher account you choose you are entitled to better trading features and benefits. anyhow, you can use your credit card to fund your account. otehr great tradign features are available for browsing at the website. These days, any successful Day Trader knows you have to have a multiple monitor computer. It s essential when trading time sensitive markets, so that you can see all your charts and programs at once. Have you checked out SUPER PC at: http://www.Multi-Monitors.com They are the Trading Computer kings! Type in quot;Forex Trading Computerquot; into Google and SUPER PC will be the first listing. I got a quad monitor quot;Power Trader Proquot; with the Quad stand display. Here s the product link: http://www.multi-monitors.com/SUPER_PC_M... Here s the Multiple Monitor LCD Display I got: http://www.multi-monitors.com/DELL_Multi... And here s a cool video demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_avGStqZ... Most of the Forex expert advisor systems use a system based on Metatrader 4. If you check the prerequisites for running the Metatrader 4 client software you have a good idea of which computer system you will have to buy. In general, any good workstation with a fast internet connection will do. I would say any computer that doesn t crawl when you are doing day to day things like surfing the internet or listening to music. Some forex trading systems are online and just depend on the internet connection. You shouldn t be too worried about this as I don t think it will effect your trading the least bit if you don t have a top of the line pc. I trade on a computer that is almost 4 years old just fine. A good forex system means you need to have high probability trades. You also need to be concerned with the currency pairs in real time. Maybe this blog can help. http://www.whatisforextrading.com Remember, no trading will be full proof, so be cautious about the claims some trading systems make. It will really depend on who you plan to make your trades through, however most newer computers will do. I think the one biggest edge you can get through your investment into the technology side is running a forex bot. I personally use Forex Tracer but there s a site at http://www.forextradercourse.us that has the top bots reviewed, one may be more suited to your needs. I personally use a system called quot;Forex Autopilotquot; which is a system and some guides that tell you all about Forex trading. You can see a nice review at http://www.fxsystemscompared.com/rev_for... Pretty much any old computer will be fine. All you need is a good and reliable internet connection.
